I created this series of paintings over the past year. I see many interesting cultures in America, and although we have so much to learn about one another, we are all created in God’s image. I use four colors — red, green, white, and purple — in different configurations and designs in each painting as a reminder that we are all connected, have value, and possess unique gifts to share with the world, regardless of appearance, stature, culture, or race. The concept of not needing to be placed in categories inspires me. God knitted us together as individuals for a purpose; we all experience joy and pain, and have distinctions when you look deeper than what you see with your eyes. Thanks for looking! All of these paintings can be purchased as prints. Please see “Drawings” page for print pricing.
